Dense fog continued to put life out of gear in the national capital. Road, rail and air traffic was disrupted due to poor visibility.
More than 40 domestic and international flights were delayed, nine flights cancelled.
Director of the Meteorological office at the IGI Airport RK Jenamani told AIR that the visibility at the runway dropped to zero as a result no flight could take off between 5.30 to 10 am.
The minimum temperature recorded was 6.6 degree celsius, a degree below the normal.
The maximum temperature settled at 22.3 degree celsius. The Met office has predicted that dense fog will continue tomorrow as well.
